Max Bernstein(they/them) was born in Buffalo, NY, and has worked and toured as a musician, media artist, sound designer, filmmaker, and performer in theater, dance, music, and museums around the world. They consider Brooklyn their heart home, but are currently living in Phoenix Arizona, where they are a professor of Film and Media Production at Arizona State University.
